Everyone is Gifted
Gift is one of the most beautiful words in the English language. Some of your happiest parenting moments may come from giving gifts to your children. Some of your sharpest heartaches may come when there are things your children want, and you don't have the power to fulfill their wish. But "gift" has another meaning. Your deepest parenting joy may come when you understand your children's abilities and interests. When you understand their gifts. And see them shine brilliantly.

Forget the idea that "gifted" refers only to those who score high on IQ tests.
And you can even forget the idea that a high IQ is something you're just born with. Everyone is gifted with abilities and interests, though these need to be discovered and nurtured. This is not a "let's give everyone a trophy" sentiment. It's science. Experience shapes the brain, and the quality and quantity of our experiences matter. So while everyone is gifted with a unique and marvelous brain, not everyone is brilliant...yet. But they can be.
Members of the Everyone is Gifted Movement are parents who often wonder:
How can I help my children discover and develop their gifts into brilliance?
Especially when there never seem to be enough hours in the day!
The great news is that over the last thirty years, researchers in the science of learning have uncovered new answers that can help parents dramatically increase their children's brilliance.
The bad news? Some of these answers are still little-known secrets. And that is what the Everyone is Gifted Movement is determined to change.
